Every product is ranked against fixed criteria. How heavily each one weighs depends on the category.

How the rating is formed

The individual criteria combine into an overall assessment. We draw on manufacturer specifications, publicly available product data and user reviews. Technical values can vary depending on the model version and conditions of use.

Tested & Checked is an independent platform with no ties to official consumer protection organisations or government bodies.
